With BAFN, he hopes to make Boston a more fun and vibrant city for lovers of Asian food and culture.

His industry experience and connections help us produce unique and exciting events here in the Boston area.

Jaely Pereira

Jaely is the City Council Liaison for Intergovernmental Relations for the City of Boston.

She also serves on the Board of numerous community organizations (Boston Little Saigon, Commonwealth Seminar, etc.)

For BAFN, Jaely brings her vast experience to help us execute successful events, especially as they grow in scale and scope.

Karima Zahiri

Karima worked in preclinical management within the pharmaceutical industry for 5 years.

As Director of Operations at BAFN, she uses her management skills to keep the team focused and organized in order to support the smooth operations of our events.

Her goal is for everyone to walk away from BAFN events feeling a sense of belonging and a deeper appreciation for Asian food.

Alex Kim

Alex has been in the Hospitality Industry for over 15 years, doing everything from cooking in fine dining restaurants to working a food truck.

At BAFN, he’s focused on making each event feel exciting, thoughtful, and real for everyone involved.

He cares about how guests are welcomed, how restaurants and partners are represented, how food is introduced, and how people connect once they are actually in the room.
